Grafting workshop – theory and practice

As part of the workshop, we will learn together with Wilhelm Tartler (Melikoleg Association) how to graft. At the end of the day, you can take home young trees grafted by yourselves, ready to be planted in the garden.
Rootstocks and scion wood of traditional apple and pear varieties from Transylvania are available. Participants can also bring scion wood of their preferred varieties.

Tip:
Please bring: pruning shears, a grafting knife with a straight blade, scion wood of the preferred varieties (one-year-old, about pencil-thick).
