I am doing a small survey on food justice.
I am a full-time farmer and I live in a small village in Romania. I grow food for myself and others since 2021.
I would like to know:
- What would you need to buy your food from a farmer? Easier access, more time, lower prices?
- Where do you buy your vegetables, eggs, milk, meat, pasta?
As far as I can see, there are farmers who can't afford to make a decent living, and there are people who would like to eat healthy but don't have the time, access, or money. Small farmers often don't have a lot of start-up capital to invest in basket systems, organic certificates, marketing strategies, and business plans.
- How can the old lady next door buy/have healthy food and I pay my bills at the same time?
- How can we all be healthy, respected and safe?
