Sowing: April. Family heritage (from great-grandmother). In some areas it was customary for women to place a small sprig of Mary's leaf in their psalms and Bibles when they went to church. Origin: probably Caucasus or Mediterranean. Not to be confused with tansy (Tanacetum vulgare L.).
